The SeaHornet ROVThe SeaHornet is a mechanical engineering student design project at Sacramento State University (CSUS) by Jacob McGrew, Benjamin Shell, and Derek Hartl. The SeaHornet is a small ROV (approximately 12" wide x 10" high x 19" long) that is controlled from a Windows laptop. The project began in August 2006 and was officially completed in May 2007.

UPS really needs to do something about the way they handle packages! Here's another damaged box I just received this morning. The bottom of the box was completely open! Fortunately (surprisingly) it still contained the O-rings and O-ring lubricant that we ordered from McMaster-Carr. Take a look at the enlarged version of this picture. I love the box brand name and slogan: Reliable Container Corp / Our name says it all. |
